Over mij - About me
In 1995 heb ik mijn eerste digitale camera gekocht, het was een Agfa een vrij primitief hoekig doosje met een heel klein scherm achter op de camera. De vakantiefoto's werden vanaf dan via de digitale weg gemaakt met vallen en opstaan natuurlijk.
De opvolger een Coolpix 990 van Nicon liet niet lang op zich wachten, gek ding was dat je kon de beide helften verdraaien om beter grip te hebben. Met deze camera kon ik al behoorlijk wat leuke zaken doen maar het was duidelijk, ik was niet echt een Nicon fan. Rond 2005 kocht ik dan mijn eerste Canon camera de EOS 350D, een instap reflex maar een werkpaard van formaat. De EOS 1000D en de EOS 1100D volgden snel, dat waren meteen ook de laatste instapcamera's.
Met de EOS 60D nam ik de sprong naar het semi professionel gamma en had ik opnieuw een echt werkpaard in handen. In 2017 volgde de EOS 77D een uiterste lichte camera met ongeloofelijke mogelijkheden. Rond de jaren 2017 / 2018 kwamen de systeemcamera's volop in de belangstelling en eind 2018 kwam de EOS M50 (een handige kleine systeemcamera met heel wat mogelijkheden) erbij als tweede toestel. Recent is de EOS RP aan het lijstje toegevoegd een zeer lichte en compacte systeemcamera met Full Frame sensor. Met de komst van de EOS RP en EOS M50 ben ik dus volledig overgestapt naar de systeemcamera's.
Voor het catalogeren en voor de basis nabewerkingen gebruik ik sinds jaar en dag Adobe Lightroom Classic, voor de iets complexere nabewerkingen gebruik ik Adobe Photoshop en de plugins van Topaz en Nik Tools. Soms maak ik ook gebruik van Luminar AI en Luminar Neo.
Binnen de fotografie ligt mijn interesse vooral bij zwart/wit (B&W) fotografie en die pas ik dan het liefst toe op de straatfotografie.
Maar ook de macrofotografie spreekt mij aan vooral dan paddenstoelen en insecten, verder hou ik ook van HDR fotografie.
Mijn software - My Software

The successor, a Coolpix 990 from Nicon, was not long in coming, the crazy thing was that you could twist both halves to get a better grip. With this camera I could do quite a few nice things, but it was clear I was not really a Nicon fan. Around 2005 I bought my first Canon camera, the EOS 350D, an entry-level reflex but a great workhorse. The EOS 1000D and the EOS 1100D soon followed, which were also the last entry-level cameras.
With the EOS 60D, I took the leap into the semi-professional range and once again had a real workhorse in my hands. In 2017, the EOS 77D followed an extremely light camera with incredible possibilities. Around the years 2017 / 2018, the systemcameras came into the limelight and at the end of 2018 the EOS M50 (a handy small system camera with a lot of options) was added as a second device. The EOS RP has recently been added to the list, a very light and compact system camera with a full-frame sensor. So with the arrival of the EOS RP and the EOS M50, I switched completely to system cameras.
I have been using Adobe Lightroom Classic for many years for cataloging and basic post-processing, for the slightly more complex post-processing I use Adobe Photoshop and the plugins from Topaz and Nik Tools. Sometimes I also use Luminar AI and Luminar Neo.
Within photography my interest lies mainly in black and white (B&W) photography, and I prefer to apply it to street photography.
But macro photography also appeals to me, especially mushrooms and insects, I also like HDR photography.
